Bay of Islands Vintage Railway Fun Trivia Night

Scenic Hotel, Paihia, 7pm.A fun evening is planned! Quizzes, great auction items and raffles plus lots of prizes to be given out! There will be 15 tables of teams, with 8 people per team. The next step for the trust is to develop a complex in Opua.

Tickets - $20 pp. Includes free drink & nibbles. Teams of 8, but you can buy individual tickets as well and we can team you up!

KOAST - Kerikeri Open Art Studios Trail

More than 45 Kerikeri artists will open their studios to the public for the first time.
Kerikeri Open Art Studios Trail Inc. invites the public to visit artists’ workshops, view and purchase art, talk to artists about their work.
The Trail will feature Artist-in-Residence studios plus three group venues for local artists without home studios, including guest artists from around Northland.
The KOAST Art Trail Guide will be available on our website and at local sponsoring businesses in early October.

Along with mouthwatering food, award winning vineyards, beer and cider - we have lots of fun going on around the place - there are real kiwi competitions such as “Kina Sucking”, “Oyster Shucking and Eating” and of course “Pie Eating!” - we are in Pai-hia after all!

State NZ Ocean Swim Series - Bay of Islands Classic

The State Bay of Islands Classic provides an ocean swim event for all ages and abilities - an ‘I’m Going Long’ 3.3km swim from Russell to Paihia, a 300m swim off Paihia Beach and a ‘State OceanKids’ 200m swim and fun activity session for children aged 6-10yrs old.

Paihia Christmas Parade

The Paihia Christmas Parade is always spectacular with plenty of effort going into the floats creating a fabulous festive atmosphere. The theme this year is Paihia - Out of this World!! Sci Fi and Fantasy and the lines to follow.
